The new standard (AS/NZS 1754:2010) for child restraints is based on approximate age and seated height, rather than the previous weight range.
To help understand which child restraint is appropriate, Upper and Lower shoulder height markers have been introduced to our car seats. These will act as prompts to graduate to a new restraint and also prevents children moving to the next level of restraint too early or too late.
